Caving
When most people think of caving, they imagine enormous underground chambers, decorated with beautiful stalactites and stalagmites. In the northeastern U.S., such chambers are few and far between. Most caves in the northeast are located in New York State, with a few in Vermont and western Massachusetts. I belong to the Boston Grotto of the National Speleological Society, and I recommend that anyone in the Boston area contact them if interested in caving.
